Get to know a little about Victoria Eggs - Homeware Designer

Posted by Catherine Conway on

You may have seen Victoria Eggs Aprons, Oven Gloves and Tea Towels on breakfast TV over the Christmas period.  They are bold, bright classic designs that once recognised as being designed by Victoria Eggs it is not hard to become a fan.

Victoria took a gap year and travelled after graduating with a Fine Art Degree in 2005, and it was whist in Australia she sat drawing a simple image of a cup and saucer which made her think of home.  She has worked with and developed this theme over the years and is now known for her bold nostalgic illustrations which serve as simple reminders of British life, from great British pub grub to Sunday lunches with friends and family, a nice cup of tea to a Big Red London Bus.

The ethos behind the company Victoria Eggs is to support British Industry whilst also celebrating all things British and this passion comes through in her designs. She uses clean lines and simple illustration to convey her ideas and then smashes you in the face with bold and bright colours making them stand out and catch your eye whilst screaming “I want one of those!”

Victoria Eggs is a big supporter of UK manufacturing and ensures all her products are made in Britain and that means everything, right down to the swing tags you find on her products.
