We at Beautiful British Designs are suckers for a well knitted bobble hat. This was well and truly bought home to to us whilst we stood outside on Bonfire night with freezing cold ears staring in awe at those with beautiful smiles and warm heads.
Sooooo......we thought we would go a hunting and find a few of our favourite bobble hats which have been made and designed in the UK by small independent businesses (as we am sure you know by now - this is what we are passionate about #togetherwearelouder).
1. Honeycomb Navy & Plum Lambswool Bobble Hat by Catherine Tough
I am a self confessed fan of Catherine Tough's work so if you have not found her yet now is your chance to check her out.
The body of the hat is knitted in a striking plumb coloured honeycomb kit with a navy blue rib cuff and hand finished with a cream coloured bobble. A big pop of colour, perfect to bring colour to a cold autumn day (www.catherinetough.co.uk)
2. Zellige Bobble Hat by Katie Victoria
Made by our very own Katie Victoria - launched this week on our website. Inspiration for this design comes from traditional Japanese textile prints and Japanese cultural architecture. Each hat is knitted on a domestic knitting machine by Katie from her Studio in Wales. We are offering a 15% discount on Katie's range of Bobble Hats until Sunday 12th November 2017 to all our newsletter subscribers, to help keep you all warm this winter and celebrate her launch. 3. Triangel Pom Pom Hat - Piccalilli by Miss Knit Nat
Miss Knitt Nat designs a range of luxury knitted accessories from snoods to of course bobble hats ! I particularly love the bold and stylish colours in this Piccalilli & Sky Blue bobble hat. (www.missknitnat.com) I am looking forward to seeing more of this designer as she is new to me.
